So I decided to study by myself. I found this book from the book list for law students at UCLA School of Law. I like this book very much. This book is about criminal law and its processes as the title indicated and more importantly, it has many cases and materials. Thus, this book has the fundamental legal knowledge/5(27). Because it's criminal law, the cases are almost universally interesting and dramatic in subject matter. Initially, I felt the book had too strong a focus on social issues, as it has a number of articles and questions regarding the social/cultural dimensions of cases and the U.S. legal system/5(6).
