This book is about criminal law and its processes as the title indicated and more importantly, it has many cases and materials. Thus, this book has the fundamental legal knowledge/5(27). Because it's criminal law, the cases are almost universally interesting and dramatic in subject matter. Initially, I felt the book had too strong a focus on social issues, as it has a number of articles and questions regarding the social/cultural dimensions of cases and the U.S. legal system/5(6).
